The Dark Hunter series 
In the Dark Hunter book series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, there is a character who is a goddess by the name of Artemis. She is a huntress, whom is the creator of the Dark Hunters. She ends up capturing their souls with he bow and arrow, and their souls serve her.

This movie about mythologogy is unsuprisingly circled around the Goddess, Artemis. 

Hercules

Artemis appears in the Disney movie Hercules, as one of the goddesses of Mount Olympis.

God of War 
In the videogame by Sony, God of War, Artemis is depicted to give Kratos a sword called, "The Blade of Artemis."

Myth

Artemis and the Hunter

One day Artemis was bathing in a stream when a young hunter named Actaeon saw her. Even though he knew it was wrong to spy on a Goddess, especially when she was naked, he couldn't take her eyes off of her. But, Artemis saw Acateon spying and was furious. She didn't want him to brag about seeing her naked, so she punished him by turning him into a deer. Actaeon's hunting dogs did not recognize him as a deer and attacked and killed him.

Introduction to Artemis

Artemis  is the goddess of wilderness, hunting, wild animals, and fertility. She is a Greek goddess, who is one of the 12 deities that lives on Mount Olympia. Her father, Zeus, granted her wish of eternal virginity at a young age, and she is proud of her purity, and is a symbol of chastity. Her twin brother is Apollo, the god of the sun as well as other things. Artemis is often carrying a bow and arrow, and sometimes is depicted with a crescent moon on her forehead (symbolizing many cycles she represents such as the moon, tides, childbirth, puberty, and motherhood.)  Followers of Artemis are known as "nymphs" and ceremonies celebrating girls growing up into women honor her.
